Ravnveer Gulati is a supporting antagonist of the long-running British soap opera EastEnders.

He is portrayed by Anil Goutam.

Biography

Ranveer Gulati first came to Albert Square in Walford, a fictional borough in East London, from March 2022. It transpired that he is a longtime acquaintance of the Panesar Family heralded by Suki Panesar, the wife of Ranveer's old business associate Nish Panesar.

Soon enough, Ranveer attempts to finalize a deal with Suki's eldest son Kheerat. This is nearly ruined when Kheerat is wanted by the police for assaulting his enemy Gray Atkins, which in turn leads to Kheerat's brother Vinny being forced to take his place. However, Kheerat turns up at the last minute and helps finalize the deal. Thereafter the family are joined by Ranveer's adopted son Ravi Gulati.

It soon becomes clear that Ranveer has developed romantic feelings towards Suki, but they quickly become lustful to the point where he sexually pesters Suki into having a romantic business partnership with him in exchange for sleeping with him. At first Suki appears to accept Ranveer's agreement, but she later entraps him into exposing his true colors due to the fact that she is aware of his sexual harrasment towards her. Outraged, Ranveer attacks Suki and attempts to rape her. She fends him off and is about to escape when Ranveer stops her, instead trying to kill her unless she submits to his demands. In that moment, Suki grabs a ornament and hits Ranveer on the head with it. Ranveer is knocked out unconcious and Suki believes that she killed him.

Just then, Ravi arrives and finds out what has happened. He decides to help Suki cover up the incident by dispoing of Ranveer's body. However, when Suki leaves to recuperate from the incident and while Ravi is left covering up the events in front of his adopted father's body, Ranveer suddenly resurfaces and finds out what Ravi is doing. The pair then get into an altercation when Ranveer denounces Ravi as his son. Ranveer's outburst causes Ravi to grab the same ornament that Suki used on the former just moments ago and to hit Ranveer on the head with it, killing him as a result.

Shortly after Ranveer's death, Ravi covers up the murder by disposing of his body and making Suki believe that she killed him.
