Parrotmon

Parrotmon is a supporting antagonist in Digimon: The Movie and also the very first enemy Digimon Tai and Kari encountered, before Kuwagamon. Parrotmon also appears as a minion in the TV show Digimon Frontier, and the movie, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. It also appears as a minor antagonist in the Digimon Adventure reboot.

In Japanese, he was voiced by Yoshihito Sasaki for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. In English, he was voied by David Lodge for Digimon: The Movie, Beau Billingslea for Digimon Frontier and Aaron LaPlante for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna.

Appearance

Parrotmon is a Ultimate Level Digimon that resembles a giant green parrot with arms and metal pieces on the top of his beak and in between his legs.

Biography

Digimon: The Movie

One night, a giant Digi-Egg appeared out of the sky in the Real World. When the egg opened, a Parrotmon emerged. As soon as it "hatched", Parrotmon caused a lot of damage in High Town Terrance. A giant Agumon tried to defend Kari and Tai from Parrotmon, but Parrotmon unleashed a powerful bolt of electricity on the bridge above them. To protect his new friends, the giant Agumon digivolved into Greymon. After which, Greymon fought the gigantic bird, to protect Tai and Kari. During the fight Greymon use a Nova Blast, and destroyed one of Parrotmon's wings. Despite it's injured wing, Parrotmon managed to knock out Greymon. With Greymon knocked out, Parrotmon decided to go after Tai and Kari. However, with a little motivation, Greymon got back up and unleashed a powerful Nova Blast. Parrotmon was obliterated, along with Greymon who disappeared in the Nova Blast.

Digimon Frontier

While the DigiDestined were inside Sakkakumon, Takuya encountered a Parrotmon. Parrotmon attacked Takuya, but Takuya retaliated by Digivolving into Agunimon and easily defeated Parrotmon.

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna

When Parrotmon arrives in Nakano, Japan, and starts to wreak havoc, Tai, Kari, T.K., Izzy (at his office computer), and Matt, alongside MetalGreymon, WereGarurumon, Angemon, and Angewomon work together to send Parrotmon back to the Digital World.

Digimon Adventure: (2020)

A Parrotmon suddenly arrives after Tankdramon was defeated by MetalGreymon. It attacks MetalGreymon, engaging in a brutal fight. During the fight, Moon=Millenniummon’s powers struck Parrotmon, causing it to Digivolve to Crossmon, and defeats MetalGreymon easily. But Taichi and Agumon refuse to back down, and march into battle again. After defeating more Allomon along the way, MetalGreymon becomes WarGreymon for the first time, and faces Crossmon as payback. He destroys Crossmon along with the remaining Allomon, stopping the enemy assault for good.

Trivia

Parrotmon was the first enemy Digimon to be fought in the Real World in Digimon Adventure before the events of the actual TV series.
In the original Digimon Adventure, Parrotmon terrorized the Real World and to be defeated by Greymon. However, in the reboot of Digimon Adventure, Parrotmon fights with MetalGreymon and easily defeats him as Crossmon, and ends up being defeated by WarGreymon in that actual episode.
Parrotmon’s Mega form is Crossmon.
