~ The leader of the Carlocks to the park workers. |
The Carlocks are the main antagonists of the Regular Show episode "Journey to the Bottom of the Crash Pit". They are an underground species that live in the crash pit.
The leader was voiced by Mark Hamill, while the other members were voiced by Roger Craig Smith, William Salyers and J.G. Quintel.
History
According to their leader, Carlocks are the first and last of a underground race. They have only six members, including the leader. The Carlocks collect and live off of objects that are thrown into the crash pit, which they believe were from the "sky people", who give them all the things that ensure their survival: cars they live in as shelter, items they wear as clothes, and beef jerky. For decades, their only form of entertainment was a ball and string (actually a toilet plunger), until one of them ate the ball when hungry.
When Mordecai, Rigby, Muscle Man and Hi-Five Ghost crash their last car into the pit and record a video of it, they leave the camera in the car by mistake (although in a protective cage). By the time they go down the pit to retrieve it, the Carlocks have taken the camera and are watching the video, laughing and making fun of a scared Rigby jumping out of the car. The four enter their place and are caught as intruders. Mordecai explains they need the camera back, but the Carlocks refuse as it is their new and only source of entertainment. When the Carlocks mention "sky people", Rigby tells them there is no such thing and it was just them crashing cars into the pit. Since the Carlocks still refuse to give back the camera and laugh at him, Rigby attacks the leader and takes the camera. The groundskeepers escape using one of the crashed cars, and the Carlocks follow them. Rigby briefly distracts them with light from a flashlight, but the Carlocks soon chase them in cars and attack their car while trying to steal the camera. During the chase, two of the Carlocks fall into a deep pit. Above ground, Thomas is already filling the pit with dirt through an excavator and drops a load of dirt on one of the cars driven by Carlocks, causing it to explode. The Carlock leader jumps onto the groundskeepers' car and tries to grab the camera, but at that time Benson has Skips fill the hole using a dump truck. The park workers escape out of the pit before it is filled, while the Carlock falls and is buried in the dirt.
