The Canal Crew is a group made in the fictional Disney UK+ show 101 Dalmatian Street loosey based upon the 1961 animated film animated by Walt Disney with the similar names but with different characters and a different premise being a movie and not a TV Show.
They are reoccurring characters in the story playing as supporting characters. They often get into a lot of various schemes around London, Camden Town. Turning to either good or bad strongly varying on the episode.
This organization is made by Fergus made consisting of two of his friends Sid and Big Fee. Sometimes they have had some of the Dalmatians like Dylan Dalmatian and Dawkins onto there at some point but for the most part it has always been mostly up to the said three characters.
Season 1
They would be reoccurring characters sometimes being supporting characters or being straight up antagonists in the story going on ridiculous lengths to leach off of any of their friends or cause any other types of criminal mischief.
Villainous Acts
Season 1
- On Episode 6 titled "Walkies on the Wildside", the three spend their time trespassing around certain places, ding-dong ditching a house, and even going to a store cafeteria to scare off some citizens, as well as stealing some food from a Subway Bus Stop. Fergus for the most part teaches Dylan his criminal ways and attempts to try to get him into the Canal Crew trying to get Dylan to do the same stuff.
- On Episode 7 titled "May Contain Nuts", Sid tricks Dolly into stealing a stash of nuts from a cafeteria store, they eventually get caught by Officer Pearl and they eventually run off and hide the stolen stash from a clock. Dolly catches herself hanging on the clock points almost about to fall and Sid has no intent on checking to see whether or not Dolly is okay caring a lot more about the stashed nuts.
- On Episode 12 titled "Crushed Out", Fergus apparently did not have much of an issue with Portia and Spencer making fun of Dylan Dalmatian after he tripped and fell onto a puddle. Fergus also indirectly causes Dylan trouble once with the work of Dante creating a edgy emo alter-ego to impress Dylan's crush Portia who ends up getting mad obsessive over Dylan. Alongside, Big Fee and Sid also laugh at Portia as she falls down a water pond during the Cat Party. Fergus eventually tries to eventually help along with Dolly and her friends with telling Dylan Dalmatian to be himself.
- On Episode 15 "The Nose-Job Part 1", Big Fee helps assist Fergus cheating due to Fergus' inability to smell by doing sign language about the item so that Fergus could find out without smelling it on the Smelling/Sniffing Contest.
- On Episode 32 titled "Fox In The Dog House", Fergus has a tendency to lie a lot and even use any of the Dalmatians to stay in the Dog House by faking an injury. Also, Fergus encourages Dizzy and Dee Dee to steal and lie about it to Pearl Officer.Fergus lies about still having an injury to the Dalmatians and eventually gets caught. At the end of the episode Sid and Big Fee presumably are told about this and they try to mimic the same stuff.
- On Episode 34 titled "Don't Push Your Luck", the three leach off of Dolly's skateboarding success for the Skateboarding contest. They go at lengths to steal tickets that Dolly bought specifically for her family that Big Fee says she would auction for a highest bidder. Big Fee and the others also make merchandise off of Dolly getting photos of her and taping the polaroids of her onto Notebooks, Pooper-Scoopers, etc selling them.
- On Episode 38 titled "Ride Along" Fergus and Big Fee or individually caught trespassing and loitering around certain trash and get caught by Dolly and Officer Pearl. Also, it is somewhat implied that Sid might have got back to stealing some acorn nuts as he has some in a tree he was in that he might be living in, but that might have been his.
- On Episode 40 titled "The Longest Night", when Dylan, Hansel, Dawkins, go out they come across Fergus. Who merely admittedly points out to their crime when he is seen looking through a trash can and eating it and throwing some of the trash out side of the trash can shouting out "I don't know squat about that bin robbery, Officer!" likely being welly-aware to his crime and admittedly denies this deed until realizing it was Dylan. Also, in this Episode Hansel talks about the reason he would bend the rules on who can show up on the Longest Night not allowing females saying that he bent the rules for Big Fee but said he wouldn't do so again. A flashback ends up showing up on screen of Big Fee using Hansel's husky tail as a tissue to blow on making Hansel feel reasonably uncomfortable.
Criminal Records
Season 1
- Disturbing the Peace - In Episodes like Episode 6 titled "Walkies on the Wildside", they are seen terrorizing others scaring them. They do this as if it wasn't the first time they did this and as if it isn't much of a problem to do such things around Camden Town as if it isn't a big deal and it is some day to day thing that they do out of their self-amusement without any signs of feelings not even remorseful and rather more of mischievous feelings. On the same mentioned episode. also do things like ding dong ditch a house. At the end of the Episode 40 titled "The Longest Night", Fergus and Big Fee are seen howling with the other Dogs scaring off some humans at the park, even though being more of a thing that Dogs do, they are willing to go at many ways of any mischievous behavior.
- Trespassing - Much like in Episode like Episode 6 titled "Walkies on the Wildside", they go around places and even trespass, as well as on Episode 7 titled "May Contain Nuts", when Sid trespass around a store to trick one of the Dalmatians Dolly into robbing a cafeteria store to "permanently borrow" a stash of nuts endangering Dolly when trying to store the stash on the London Camden Town Big Ben Clock not bothering to save Dolly at all. Fortunately, she was saved by her brother and her friends. But Sid only cared about her acrobatic skills and stealing some nuts, as well as caring only because he got caught by Officer Pearl presumably being nicked/arrested. On 38 titled "Ride Along", Fergus trespasses a trash can in London Camden Town to look for food to eat in their food, as well as on Big Fee doing somewhat of the similar with trash bags. Also another notable time is that on Episode 51-52 on the season finale "The De Vil Wears Puppies" They also trespass trying to head to Cruella De Vil's cruise ship stalking De Vil. In spite of their ability to just have worked with Officer Pearl or call her to get Cruella De Vil stopped, they decide to take it upon their own hands.
- Theft - On Episode "Walkies on the Wildside" the intial main three do this a lot. Even at some point encouraging Dylan to do the same thing who instead begged instead of actually trying to steal versus the three actually going on with plan, as well as on on Episode 32 titled "Fox In The Dog House" where one of the members Fergus gets Dizzy and Dee Dee to actually do the same exact thing and actually go with the plan lying to Officer Pearl about it. Also on Episode 34 titled "Don't Push Your Luck", one of the members of the Canal Crew Big Fee also steals from the Dalmatians a lot in the episode using Dolly Dalmatian to give her "Good Luck" on the episode for her Skateboarding performance in order to win at it. Also, on Episode 38 "Ride Along", Fergus is seen taking stuff out of the trash to eat, as well as Big Fee if she took the trash or she was just simply trespassing, as well as Dolly confronting Sid to see if he had "a warrant" for the acorn nuts he had stored in his tree/home.
- Indirect Endangerment - Most notably on Episode 7 titled "May Contain Nuts", Sid indirectly puts Dolly's life in jeopardy with little care when hiding the stash of nuts not even bothering to save her and only caring about his stash of nuts and eventually Dolly saving herself instead of trying to save Dolly. Nevertheless, Dolly is saved by the work with her brother Dylan and the other Dogs but not by Sid. on Episodes 51 to 52 on the season finale "The De Vil Wears Puppies", they also try to take the law into their hands trying to stop Cruella De Vil saving the Dalmatians instead of working with Pearl. They fail and merely but the Dalmatians life at disastrous risk until Hunter De Vil thankfully stopped Cruella De Vil.
- Cheating - On Episode 15 "The Nose-Job Part 1", Big Fee helps assist Fergus cheating due to Fergus' inability to smell by doing sign language about the item so that Fergus could find out without smelling it on the Smelling/Sniffing Contest.
- Fraudulent Personal Injury - On Episode 32 titled "Fox In The Dog House", Fergus pretends to still have an injury to the Dalmatians to fool the Dalmatians. This eventually encourages Sid and Big Fee into doing the same only for the Dalmatians to read through their eyes reading through their deceitfulness.
- Blackmail/Extortion - * On Episode 34 titled "Don't Push Your Luck", the three leach off of Dolly's skateboarding success for the Skateboarding contest. They go at lengths to steal tickets that Dolly bought specifically for her family that Big Fee says she would auction for a highest bidder.
- Copyright Infringement - Big Fee and the Canal Crew also make merchandise off of Dolly getting photos of her and taping the polaroids of her onto Notebooks, Pooper-Scoopers, etc selling them in front of Dolly's house.
- Vigilantism - Much like in on Episodes 51 to 52 on the season finale "The De Vil Wears Puppies", rather than trying to work with Pearl closely similar to what Dylan and Dolly did versus what they did that could have gotten themselves or others hurt in the process putting their lives and even the Dalmatians lives in jeopardy, they do try to take the law into their own hands to be able to save the Dalmatians from Cruella De Vil who they stop. Thankfully, they were all okay and Cruella was eventually defeated eventually. On Episode 51 to 52 on the season finale "The De Vil Wears Puppies" they trespass their way to a delivered cruise ship base to stop the Dalmatians from being taken by Cruella De Vil and be put into fur accessories. They put their lives and the Dalmatians lives under a lot of risk through their vigilant ways putting some other lives like the Dalmatians merely in jeopardy.
Redemption Acts:
- On Episode 6 titled "Walkies on the Wildside", the Canal Crew does teach Dylan to find his inner Dog. While going at extreme lengths of doing so they do try to help him ultimately.
- On Episode 12 titled "Crushed Out", Fergus along with the help of Dante tries to help Dylan be able to impress Portia. In spite of it backfiring, they at least have their good intentions on trying to help Dylan on their best abilities.

- On Episode 32 titled "Fox In The Dog House", in spite of Fergus' mere antagonistic role in this episode he helps Dylan out with his chores.
- On Episode 34 titled "Don't Push Your Luck", in spite of their selfish motives ultimately, the group most notably Big Fee does help somewhat with Dolly's skateboarding success.
- On Episode 42 titled "Yappily Ever After", the Canal Crew incompetently yet ultimately successfully helps cover for Dolly doing the chores for Clarissa's human pet Hugo throughout the episode.
- On Episodes 51 to 52 on the season finale "The De Vil Wears Puppies", throughout Part 1-2, the Canal Crew does try to make a desperate attempt to stop Cruella from kidnapping the Dalmatian taking the law into their own hands. They fail being cornered until Hunter De Vil eventually turned against Cruella De Vil redeeming himself nevertheless.

Trivia
- They aren't rather evil but their motives and actions depending on their episodes and their antagonistic roles make them considerably around the grey area not being seen as just "good" due to their selfish arrogant wrong-doings.
- In spite of this, there are some good that the three have at least with helping not just Dylan or Dolly but some of the other Dalmatians in need like Dawkins needing more respect as Dylan's sidekick when being "in-charge" and so on.
