Revolt (反乱 - リボルト -, Hanran - Riboruto -) is the thirty-fifth episode of Ultraman Nexus.

Plot

With the drug that could save Ren’s life on its way to Japan, Komon begins to suspect that TLT intends to perform dangerous experiments on his young friend to learn more about the nature of Ultraman. Is this the beginning of war between the Night Raiders and TLT?

Trivia

• In this episode, the transformation scene of Ren Senjyu at sunset was, to some extent, a fortunate coincidence.
  • In fact, Ren's transformation scene had already been filmed earlier, and the crew was preparing to leave the set. However, they happened to catch the sunset, so the entire team decided to return to the set and reshoot the transformation scene. After seeing this shot, the special effects team put in their utmost effort to film the special effects portion against the sunset. The lighting department worked especially hard, and the battle scenes were deliberately designed to complement Nagi's line to Ren: "Ren, you should fight to live. Even if there's no tomorrow for you."
  • Director Yuichi Abe, while filming the transformation shot, often thought about how to present a transformation that fit the story. The reason for filming "Ren's transformation at sunset" wasn't just because the shot looked beautiful, but also to convey the symbolic image of "Ren's life light about to extinguish."
