Ayaka Umeda is a Japanese singer, actress and former idol. As a former member of AKB48, she played Team U member Misato Houjou in Ultraman Saga.
Career
Umeda joined AKB48's Team K as one of its founding members in 2006 and later joined a subunit called DiVA with three other members in 2011. She also became the captain of Team B in 2012. She announced her graduation from the group on January 23, 2016,[1] and had her last performance on April 1 alongside Sae Miyazawa and Kana Kobayashi.
On March 31, 2020, Umeda left Flave Entertainment, joining TRUSTAR on June 1 of the same year.[2]
