Let's Race was an online mini-series that ties in with the 2021 special, Race for the Sodor Cup. It was released to promote the film's arrival on Netflix in March 2022. The series ran from 17 March to 9 April 2022. An entire compilation of the series was released on 15 April 2022. Unlike the main series and shorts, Let's Race features an entirely different voice cast and is scored by former Thomas & Friends composer Chris Renshaw.
Trivia
- Carly is the only character not to have a speaking line (not counting laughing) throughout the shorts.
- Aside from Pradnesh Prakash as Percy, Peter Laurie as Diesel and Cassidy Woodward as Sandy respectively, the rest of the US voice cast for these shorts is unknown.
