Ferries
A ferry is a vessel that transports passengers, cargo, and sometimes vehicles across a body of water. Ferries are a part of the public transportation systems in many cities and islands on the water.
According to The Island of Sodor: Its People, History and Railways, in the 1980s a private firm began a Ferry Service from Harwick to Ramsey, with return trips twice daily in Summer, and three days a week in Winter.
