Denise Cassar was an episode writer for Thomas & Friends. She started her writing career in South Africa, where she wrote for "Sesame Street". Whilst in South Africa, she wrote and even presented some wildlife documentaries and children's programmes. Since she returned to the UK, she has contributed to many children's shows, including "Raa Raa the Noisy Lion", "Postman Pat", "ZingZillas", "Bing", "Let's Play", "Topsy and Tim", "School of Roars", "Luo Bao Bei", "Ella Bella Bingo" and "Driver Dan".
