Gaku Oguro (大黒 岳 Ōguro Gaku) is an idol under TSUKINO TALENT PRODUCTION. He is a member of the unit ROCK DOWN.
Appearance
Gaku is a tall young man with short black hair, with some bangs falling over his left eye as well as an ahoge, and light green eyes.
Personality
Gaku has a parental attitude, often jokingly called the "mother" of ROCK DOWN. He is a man with incredible patience and is not easily agitated or flustered. He is calm and helps guide others in the right direction. He is especially skilled when it comes to cooking and acting. Gaku is also a casual drinker.
Gaku is shown to be somewhat insecure when comparing himself to the extremely talented members of VAZZROCK. He worries about being overshadowed, or fading into the background amongst others, so he compensates by working extra hard to catch up to them, and eventually surpass them.[1]
Though he has a steady and easygoing personality, Gaku also has a playful and teasing side to him. He can be easily roped into schemes he finds funny or interesting, and playing along for the sake of curiosity.[2]
History
Prior to joining the VAZZROCK project, Gaku had recently begun acting after being convinced by Ruka to join him in a play. Because of his cool demeanor and natural skill, he began to take more acting roles, before eventually signing onto the VAZZROCK project.[1]

Etymology
- The name Gaku means "mountain, peak" (岳).
- His surname, Oguro, means "big, great" (大) (o) and "black" (黒) (kuro/guro).
Trivia
- Gaku is childhood friends with his band-mate Ruka Nadumi.
- He is apparently fond of camping, being enthusiastic at the idea along with Ruka & QUELL's Eichi.[4]
- Gaku is revealed to have had a delinquent phase in his youth, even having a small scar on his stomach from being grazed with a knife during a fight.[5]
