Query is a detective program who lives in the Arq Grid.
History

Query is a Disciple of Tron,[2] who was raised with stories of Tron.[3]
In 2023,[4] Query was assigned to solve a robbery occurring at The Repository, along with the mystery surrounding it,[5] by Prinz, an ISO zealot. Once arriving, Query was nearly struck by a trio of programs on a 6th Gen Light Cycle before approaching the entrance of the Reposiotry, where he met Grish. While in the lobby, Grish and Query formed a connection (Either hateful or befriending based on the player's choice), and he defragged Grish's Identity Disc, to which the two were brought up to the admin's office and they met the Program who assigned Query, Prinz.
While in the library, Query met it's individuals such as Ada, the building's Librarian, Sierra, an ambassador for the Automatas. Query also met the rebel program, Proxy, who he either Derezzed or let inside the building (Based on the player's choice), on the Repository's landing pad. Upon defragging the Identity Disc of Cass, a young amnesiac program who was stationed to guard the Vault, the two both discovered that the Arq Grid was going to end.[6]
General information
Personality
Like most Disciples of Tron, Query is a program that seeks to uncover the truth at all cost but tries to have no impact in the places he investigates. Despite this, his investigation at The Repository eventually lead him to make important choices that would impact the Grid as a whole, something that he notes the DoT would not approve.
(Further elements of Query's personality and his relationships with other programs in TRON: Identity depends on the player's choices).
Following his investigation in the Repository, Query fell on hard times and lost all hope from this experience.[1]
Skills and abilities
Defragmentation of identity discs.
Notes
- In computer science, the name query is associated with various subjects, though its very likely Query's name simply comes from the main idea of a Query, a precise request for information retrieval made to a database or information system.
