Cass is a young program that served as an honor guard at the Repository.

History

Cass was a young program who became imprisoned inside of a dark cold box for as long as they lived.^[1] At one point in their life, Cass fiddled with some fallen data shards while sitting at a Data Tree's root, closely examining them. Cass was called by their friend, though they only glanced and smiled at each other before Cass continued inspecting the data shard.^[2] Cass was eventually given pity by their cell guard, Horii, who gave them a garment.^[3] In 2023,^[4] Cass was stationed as a guard for the Vault in the Repository^[5] until a break-in within it occurred,^[6] disrupting their memories.^[7] Query, a Disciple of Tron, met Cass, and he eventually defragmented their Identity Disc, upon doing so however, the two found out that the Grid was going to end.^[1]

Physical appearance

Cass is a very young program with orange circuity, unlike other Core guards, Cass' outfit was more ornate.

Abilities

Cass can witness future events before their occurrence. This unique ability provoked them to be locked up in their cell. A notable vision Cass foresaw because of this unique power was the destruction of the Arq Grid.
