Appearances TRON: Uprising

Klax is a minor character in TRON: Uprising. She appeared as a member of Tron's security team until being Repurposed.

History

Trouble in the ISO district

Klax

Klax was summoned by Dyson in order to maintain peace within the ISO district of Tron City. While waiting in the elevator, Klax laughed at her teammate, Nord, teasing Reeve, and once the three reached the ground, they complained about having to defend ISOs until they were commanded to move out by Dyson. Klax and her teammates drove towards the ISO district, via their Light Cycles, where a disturbance had taken place, once they arrived, they equipped themselves with armor. As Tron disciplined a furious crowd of Basics, an Identity Disc ht and killed a single Basic, causing a riot towards the ISOs and provoking the security team to prevent the furious crowd of Basics from harming the ISOs. During the ensuing chaos, Klax was knocked down.[1]

Repurposing

Klax was later captured and Repurposed into Clu's army alongside her teammates, Reeve and Nord as Tron helplessly watched on. The result of their repurposing caused their personality to be erased.[2]

Trivia

  • Female security program repurposed
Klax is the only known female System Monitor in the TRON Universe.
  • Although initially going unnamed in the episodes she appears in, Klax's name was eventually confirmed by series writer, Bill Wolkoff in a Twitter post.[3]
  • The roles of Klax and Reeve were accidentally reversed in the original script of Scars, Part 2. The final version of the episode corrects this mistake and places the two back into their original roles.
