Jinwook (Thai: จินวุค, Korean: 진욱) is a South Korean rapper under SONRAY MUSIC. He is a member of the boy group BUS and its sub-unit BUS5.
He was a contestant on the reality survival show 789 SURVIVAL.
Career
Early life
Jinwook became a trainee on September 18, 2022.[1]
2022-present: 789 SURVIVAL, BUS, BUS5
On December 17, 2022, he was introduced as a contestant on 789 SURVIVAL.[2] During the show's finale, he was announced to be chosen as a member of the final group, even though not making it in the top 9. He debuted in the group, named BUS, on December 6, 2023 with the digital single "Because of You, I Shine".
On April 28, 2024, it was confirmed that Jinwook would be a member of the group's sub-unit BUS5.
Personal life
Education
Jinwook completed his secondary education at Ekamai International School, and is currently studying Business Administration at Assumption University.[1]
Health
On May 26, 2022, SONRAY Music released a statement announcing that Jinwook tested positive for COVID-19.[3]
