Magicians are a race of humans that inhabit the planet Earth. According to Jinx, they have a rich recorded history dating back much further than recorded human history.^[1]

Whether these people are synonymous with the Homo Magi from DC Comics is currently unknown.

History

Magicians are a subset of humans born with the ability to utilize magic to varying degrees. They are stated to have existed for many thousands of years and perfected their craft in that time, while remaining anonymous to the regular human population.

Women born as magicians were of special interest to the Organization and many were indoctrinated to Trigon's cult in order to mother his children in the hopes of bringing forth his Chosen One.
