Cold Gun

The Cold Gun is a weapon owned by Bruce Wayne during Dick Grayson's Trigon-induced hallucination.

History

During a hallucination induced by Trigon on Dick Grayson, Batman held the Cold Gun in the Batcave, and used its icy blasts to counter Starfire's flame-based powers, freezing her to death.^[1]

Behind the scenes

• In the DC comics, the term Cold Gun has been applied to many different items. The first Cold Gun belonged to Icicle and debuted in All-American Comics #90 (October, 1947). The second Cold Gun belonged to Captain Cold, and debuted in Showcase #8 (June, 1957). The third and best-known Cold Gun belonged to Mister Freeze and debuted in Batman #121 (February, 1959).
