Tyler is a recurring character in The Loud House, who made his first appearance in "The Boss Maybe". He is Scoots' boyfriend. |
Biography
Tyler first appeared in "The Boss Maybe", where he is shopping at Reininger's. He walks past Scoots and compliments her scooter and the gloves Leni is trying to sell her, convincing Scoots to buy them. Sometime later, Scoots had gotten into a romantic relationship with Tyler, as they both attend Luan's comedy show much to the annoyance of Luna. When Leni comes in to get everyone out, Scoots rides on Tyler's arm, saying he's her "ride".
In "Resident Upheaval", Tyler is revealed to be a resident of Sunset Canyon Retirement Home, and that Scoots secretly hid him and his motorcycle in a separate two-bedroom suite. She helps him keep score during Lincoln and Clyde's race to see whose grandma wins.
In "Much Ado About Noshing", Tyler accompanies Scoots during her invitation to Lynn's Table, which was an attempt for Lynn Sr. and the Loud kids to see who was the Nosher who left the restaurant a negative review. When acting immature at one point, Scoots tells Tyler to "talk in his big boy voice". When Lynn Sr. scolded Scoots and the guests, Tyler and the guests were confused as none of them was New Nosher 123. Tyler and the rest of the guests then glared at Lynn Sr. when it turns out he was New Nosher 123 the whole time. To make up for the false accusations, Lynn Sr. and the siblings agree to treat Tyler and the others with quality service at the restaurant once a week for the next year.
In "Farm to Unstable", Tyler is shown to be an expert DJ as seen when he and Scoots got a gig and they stopped at the Hunnicutt Farm to get some items.
In "Runaway McBride", Tyler was hired by Howard McBride and Harold McBride to do his DJ work at their house for a roller skating party that he has Clyde and his friends attend.
In "High Crimes", Scoots throws a party at Sunset Canyon Retirement Home for Tyler's DJ graduation.
In "Haunted House Call", Tyler was with Scoots when she was haunted by the ghost of her old neighbor Buzz.
Personality
Tyler is very supportive and submissive to his girlfriend Scoots. Like her, he likes motorcycles.
He seems to act immature for his age as in "Much Ado About Noshing" Scoots tells him to "talk in his big boy voice". Additionally, he does not appear to be very bright, because he tends to write the number 2 upside-down in "Resident Upheaval".
Appearance
Tyler is a younger adult man with tan skin (fair skins in “The Boss Maybe)”, a big square chin, a long nose, long blond hair, black eyebrows, eye-bags, and a muscular torso and arms. He wears a white t-shirt, brown jeans, a black belt with a steel buckle, and dark brown shoes. In his earlier appearances, his jeans were blue.
Trivia
- In "High Crimes", it was revealed it took him six years to graduate DJ school.
- His DJ stand is equipped with wheels.
