This content requires the Tales from the Far Territory addon to be installed before it can be seen or used in regular gameplay.

Wires are an item found in Survival Mode in The Long Dark. They where introduced in Part 2 of the Tales from the Far Territory addon. They can be found in most industrial areas in the game world.

Uses

2 are used to repair Transmitters across Great Bear Island.
1 bundle can be used at a Work Bench to make a Fishing Lure (Wire Bundle).
1 bundle is used to destroy the Prepper's Abandoned Cache at the end of Sutherland's Tale.
