Dire Wraiths are hostile alien shape-shifters. In their natural state they are tall, reptilian beings. However, by entering into a transitional state they can assume any roughly bipedal form, either organic or robotic. Their power and strength can become greatly enhanced by exposure to energon. As a result, they are strongly drawn to sources of that form of energy.
History
In 2018 the Dire Wraiths started infiltrating institutions on Earth, starting with G.I. Joe.
