With a career spanning over two decades, Rey has earned a reputation as one of the foremost experts in special operations. History

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:

Philip Brian Rey was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1972, the son of a Vietnam veteran and a schoolteacher. He grew up with a keen sense of duty and patriotism and joined the Army after graduating from high school. He excelled in his training and was selected for the Special Forces, where he learned to speak several languages and operate in diverse environments. He served in multiple missions around the world, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia, earning several medals and commendations for his bravery and leadership.

Rey first got the notice of the Jugglers in 2004 while fighting the Coil in Europe. He rose through the ranks and became a Brigadier General in 2020, commanding a Special Forces group based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is respected by his peers and subordinates for his professionalism, integrity, and courage.

MUX History:

In 2023, the Jugglers assigned General Rey to G.I. Joe, to assist General Flagg in leadership duties. He then took the codename "Apex."
