Sissie ｢シッシー, shisshī｣ was a sea beast that was shown in the spin-off manga series The Ways of the Monster Nation. It was known to reside in Lake Siss of the Great Jura Forest.

Appearance

Sissie was shown to have the appearance of a large shark similar to a megalodon, with two semi-spiraling horns protruding from the sides of its head, a straight blade-like horn protruding from just below its nose, and large mouth with three rows of teeth.^[1]

Personality

Sissie tended to swim away from those with a powerful aura.

Trivia

• Sissie is an analogy with Issie, said to be a Japanese lake monster residing in Lake Ikeda, on Kyushu Island.
  • In English, it's also an analogy to Nessie, a Scottish lake monster residing in Loch Ness, Scotland.
