Appearance

High orc

Geld's original appearance that doesn't stray far from the appearance of a normal Orc. He had the appearance of a burly but not overly large Orc with extremely light colored fur and red lines along his cheeks.

Orc Lord

Geld's form after becoming the Orc Lord and taking in the power and Skills of many different races. He's a towering beast of a man with large muscles and a massive pot-belly. His armor has merged into his skin and his long, rigid, and pointy ears along with the large red jewel on his forehead make him appear to be wearing some sort of crown.

Orc Disaster

Geld's form after eating Gelmud and becoming a Demon lord seed. His height and build have increased several times over from his previous appearance and his massive pot-belly has been significantly flattened, leaving him as a hulking tower of muscles closer to a Giant in appearance than an Orc.

Personality

Geld was a benevolent and caring ruler who put the needs of his people above his own. When they were starving, he offered them his own flesh to eat, and when they could no longer bear the famine, he was willing to become a monstrous and depraved Demon Lord all for the sake of offering his people a new home. Geld's immense guilt over the sins he committed for the sake of his people were what drove him to never stop in his quest for power. Even when his mental capabilities were reduced to an almost animalistic level, he kept moving forward for their sake. It was his loss against Rimuru and their promise to devour the sins of him and his people which allowed Geld to finally find peace and move on.

Background

Geld was born as a prince of the Orc Kingdom of Orbic, a nation comprised solely of orcs near the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania. Some time into Geld's life, a great famine swept across the nation. With even the royal family struggling to put food on their table, Geld's father, the king of Orbic, offered up his own flesh and blood to sustain his son.

Upon feasting on his father’s body, Geld took in his power and evolved into the legendary Orc Lord that was said to awaken once every few centuries, obtaining Starved as an Intrinsic Unique Skill in the process. However, even the mighty power of an Orc Lord was unable to restore their now barren and dry land into a place hospitable for his people. He could only offer his own flesh and blood which regenerated near-endlessly to his starving people. Geld, running out of steam and on the verge of death, was approached by a Majin named Gelmud who took him under his wing and gave him his Name.

Upon hearing of the Storm Dragon Veldora's disappearance, and at the behest of his father-figure Gelmud, Geld set his sights on invading and settling the fertile and plentiful land that made up the Great Jura Forest. Using Gelmud's connections to a certain benefactor, Geld was able to procure enough quality armor, weapons, and rations to supply an army of over 200,000 Orcs for use in his campaign in Jura. In order to manage his army and make them obedient, Geld used the powers of his Unique skill Starved to place all of his subjects' minds under his direct control and inflicting them with a never-ending hunger in the process. He also appointed several generals from among the elite of his people, chief among them being his own son.

With his army fully equipped, organized, and under his control, Geld began his campaign into the Jura Forest. The majority of his forces were sent straight north following the Great Ameld River to take out the large population of Lizardmen that made the swamps around Lake Siss their home while Geld personally lead a much smaller detachment that took a detour to seek out and devour as many strong races as possible. Geld and his detachment eventually arrived at the doorstep of a large village of Ogres well renowned for their strength and martial ability. The Ogres Geld faced were extremely formidable, perhaps capable of ending him and his campaign had the mercenary Footman hired by Gelmud not been there to assist Geld in defeating their chieftain. After devouring all of the Ogre corpses, Geld's power was beyond what his body could handle, causing his mental capabilities to decline to an almost animalistic level. Geld and his detachment eventually rejoined with the main bulk of their army that were engaged in a prolonged siege against the Lizardmen forces that holed up in their network of caves like a fortress. Eventually the Lizardmen, led by Gabiru, sortied into the open swamp to confront the orcs directly. The Lizardmen held strong and put up a valiant effort against the Orc forces… but once they faced casualties, their capabilities were absorbed by Geld's Starved and shared across the entire Orc army, giving them a decisive advantage. The Lizardmen forces were pushed into a corner, with their leader engaged in desperate one versus one combat with an Orc General when suddenly strange and delicious looking reinforcements arrived.

Trivia
