Technoroid: Overmind is set in the Entertainment Tower Babel, a new hope found by those who have lost the joy of light as humanity's activities are restricted due to the large-scale climate change caused by the expanded sun. The anime depicts unique units and characters fighting for the top of Babel, pursuing emotions that move people and androids through performances.
[Update 22/4/29] It was scheduled to air on July 2022 at first but got postponed due to the sudden rise of people infected with COVID-19 in the studio. A new airing date was being discussed.

On a special Tekuraji broadcast that was held on Sunday, March 27th, 2022, lyricist RUCCA confirmed that the anime is a prequel that took place 10 years prior to the events happening in the game.
