Description
The Pumpkin Bomb is an event consumable that could be obtained from the Hexscape Event. It can be used to support towers by debuffing enemies or support the enemies by buffing them. While for the most part obtained from the event, it could also have been obtained from the Low Grade Consumable Crate, Mid Grade Consumable Crate and High Grade Consumable Crate.
The Pumpkin Bomb can be used five times by a player in a single match. It has a 5 second cooldown, but when the match starts, it is set to 10.
Usage
When using the Pumpkin Bomb, the player's avatar holds a pumpkin, playing custom animation; you will be able to select an area where it can be thrown. All enemies hit in its 6 explosion range explosion will have a buff or a debuff applied to them. There is a 40% chance the enemies will receive a buff and a 60% the enemies will receive a debuff. Additionally, all enemies will receive 120 damage if they get debuffed. No damage will be dealt to them if it is they receive a buff. Its explosion, if it deals damage, does not bypass defense and it can damage Lead enemies.
There are three possible buffs that can be applied to enemies:
- Enemies can receive the Bloated attribute, doubling their current and maximum health.
- Enemies can receive the Nimble attribute, doubling their speed.
- Enemies can receive the Health Regen attribute, making them regenerate 2% of their maximum health every 2 seconds.
There are three possible debuffs that can be applied, with all of them also dealing 120 damage to enemies:
- Enemies will be frozen for 2 seconds and have their defense reduced by 20%. Defense dropping is the same as freeze defense dropping.
- Enemies will have the Hidden and Aggro attributes removed from them.
- When applied to a Siege Engine, it will gain 50,000 health, and the God and No Target attributes will be removed.
- Enemies will receive the three bleed debuff stacks with 0.375 EV (exponential value), 2 base bleed damage and 10 max stacks.
Appearance
The Pumpkin Bomb is a small pumpkin carved with a big face. It has a neon yellow glow inside of it, though this is not visible on its icon.
Strategy
- While the Pumpkin Bomb does have positive effects, which are more common to get, they are either temporary or not as significant as the negative effects, which are all permanent and can make the enemy twice as strong, making using this consumable very risky to use.
- Because of this, is it not recommended to use this. It can, however, be useful for self imposed challenges such as trying to beat buffed versions of bosses or helping completing Mission Quests/Quests by using the Health Regen or Bloated attributes given to make progress towards damage objectives.
