One of the four characters in the television show Teletubbies was a purple one.
He was seen in one episode spinning around whilst wearing a pink skirt, and later gathering around the green one to watch the television in his stomach. (TV: The Sound of Drums [+]Russell T Davies, Doctor Who series 3 (BBC One, 2007).)
