Wai Chim

Wai Chim is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn (2021).

Initially the target on the first vote of the season due to her poor challenge performance, Wai was saved by George Mladenov and, thanks to her loyalty to the Brains Alliance, managed to make her way to the end-game, where she and Hayley Leake became crucial swing votes. At the final five, despite planning to vote off the final Brawn member Flick Palmateer, Wai was put forth as a contingency plan by the duo of George and Cara Atchison in case Flick played a Hidden Immunity Idol. Cara and George proved to be correct, as Flick played her idol and Wai left the game blindsided.

The tribes competed in an individual Reward/Immunity Challenge with two members of each tribe winning the challenge. ^2 The reward was dependent on each castaway's finish in the challenge. ^3 Three Immunity Necklaces were up for grabs. ^1 In "Episode 1", George used a Safety Without Power advantage on Wai, granting her immunity, but at the cost of her vote.
^2 In "Episode 6", the Brains were subjected to a mock Tribal Council where the player they voted out was switched to the other tribe.
^3 In "Episode 9", both Brains and Brawn attended Tribal Council. After a player had been voted out by their respective tribe, Wai and the three other Immune players had to unanimously decide who to eliminate. Wai decided to eliminate Shannon.
^4 In "Episode 14", Wai became ineligible to vote after losing the Immunity Challenge.
^5 In "Episode 17", George used a Hidden Immunity Idol on Cara, negating Wai's vote against her.
^6 In "Episode 21", the vote ended with a 2-2-2 tie between Cara, Dani, and Flick, forcing a revote. Wai did not change her vote on the revote.
^7 In "Episode 22", Flick used a Hidden Immunity Idol, negating Wai's vote against her.
