Pookas are enemies from Dig Dug. It also appears as a recurring character in Pac-Man World, and appears as an enemy in Pac-Man World 2. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, they appear as common enemies in Smash Run. They also appear in Pac-Man's Up Taunt among other things that Pac-Man can summon with his Namco Roulette.
In the Smash Run, Pookas attack by ramming their targets, dealing weak knockback. Their main form of transportation is burrowing through the ground, although the player can still spot them by looking at the ground. A Pooka will inflate as it loses health; the less health the Pooka has, the bigger it gets. However, the Pooka will slowly regenerate the lost health, deflating accordingly. It will also continuously be stunned until it regenerates completely. When it is destroyed, the Pooka pops, damaging other enemies in its vicinity.
Trophy Description
These little monsters from the Dig Dug series like to jump around and throw themselves into people. They'll burrow through the ground to protect themselves from attacks as they approach. If you do manage to hit one, it'll puff up, growing with each attack until it explodes. Try hitting enemies with its explosion
