Overview

Maybee is a new character in the new Hive Update. Maybee is a gift shop owner who sells gifts to Baaren. Like Tristopio, They give quests to Baaren to complete to get his reward.

Characteristics

Personality

Not much is known about them, but they mentioned that they still despise bears. Despite this, they make a deal with Baaren by telling them to buy their products just to expand their business.

Physical Appearance

Maybee is a bee with a hat like Capitalus'. Not much about their appearance, but looks nice.

They have names that are localized into these following languages:

Gift Shop

They run a gift shop in the middle of the new Hive, They give hats and clothes, but to obtain them, They give you quests to complete.

Here are the gifts:

• Turtle shell (save 8 bears in Turtletown)
• The dust (save 8 bears in Beemothep Desert)
• Purple bear (save the kingdom)
• Yeti mask (save 8 bears in Snow Valley)
• Tiny bear (save 8 bears in Giant House)
• Ghost trail (beat all the gold times)

Trivia

• They are the most recent helpful NPC, preceded by the three current NPCs.
• Their shop stand is the only one to be not located at the Hub.
  • Two arguments started to make the topic confusing:
    • The dev stated that Maybee is non-binary, as seen in the questions channel.
    • However, PolariTOON stated that Maybee is a female, since "Isabelle" is a female name, and every bee's grammatical gender in French is female.
• Their name could be a pun of of the word "maybe". They even say their name/the word in their dialogue.
• Like Queen Beeatrice, their name has bee puns, even the localized versions.
  • This time, instead of Mirabel/Mirabelle/Mirabella, it's Isabel/Isabelle/Isabella.
  • When the new hive update was launched, the maybee can be punched by the player. But on the newer versions, they fixed and you cant punch Maybee anymore
