In Klingon mythology, Koth is analogous to Limbo or Barzakh where a soul not fit for Sto-vo-kor, yet not condemned to Gre'thor, must exist between the two in a state of nothingness.

“Leap of Faith”: The player passes through Koth search for the soul of L'Rell. There they find Gowron who's personal honor would satisfy Sto-vo-kor, but his entry is blocked due to the dishonor of his ancestor Aakar.
