Bekelba, First Minister of Karemma
The Karemma are a humanoid non-player race native to the Gamma Quadrant. They are members of the Dominion and allies of the Ferengi Alliance.
History
The Karemma's first relations with the Alpha Quadrant were established by Quark in 2370, in his attempt to secure a large Tulaberry Wine contract. He was acting on behalf of the Grand Nagus in a scheme to discover more about the Dominion, of which the Karemma were said to be an important member. (Rules of Acquisition) When the Federation attempted to contact the Founders, the crew of the U.S.S. Defiant used Quark's contacts to meet with the Karemman First Minister. The First Minister directed them to the Callinon System to meet with the Vorta. (The Search, Part I) The Karemma visited Deep Space 9 and continued trading with the Federation, via the Ferengi as late as 2372. (Prophet Motive, Starship Down)

“Storm Clouds Gather”: Karemman refugees have reached Deep Space 9 and talk about fleeing the war with the Hur'q.- “The Search”: The player is led to Karemma, which is under Dominion blockade following the planet's secession from the Dominion.

- “Home”: D'Tan mentions the republic is brokering peace talks between the Karemma and the Dominion.
Appearance
Karemma have enlarged noses that extend to a forehead ridge. Their ear lobes are curved along the back of the jaw.
Duty officers
Karemma duty officers are only available for the Federation.
