The Dosi are a humanoid non-player race native to the Dosi System in the Gamma Quadrant. They are allies of the Dominion. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)

History

The Ferengi Alliance began conducting trade with the Dosi in the 24th century. Both cultures take profit seriously. (DS9 episode "Rules of Acquisition")

Dosi are Human-like but their faces are covered with paint or tatoos. Both male and female Dosi wear dark head coverings.

Dosi duty officers are only available for the Klingon Empire.

“Operation Gamma”: The Ferengi trader Farek implies to know how to get into the Dosi System undetected, and that they are afraid of the Karemma.
“The Search”: The player visits the Dosi system, but it is abandoned. Odo reveals that the Dosi only joined the Dominion recently (as of 2410). The Founders found the Dosi's 'aggressive fondness for commerce' troublesome, but they had proved their worth as members. Work on the planet was conducted jointly with the Karemmans and the Dominion placed a station in orbit. However the planet and the station had been evacuated a long time prior to the player's arrival, with Garak estimating the station had been abandoned some 20 years prior.
