The I.S.S. Defiant (NX-74205) is a Defiant-class Escort in service to the Terran Empire's Imperial Starfleet and the mirror universe counterpart of the Federation Starfleet's U.S.S. Defiant.
History
- In 2371, schematics for the Defiant-class were stolen from Deep Space 9 by the Terran Rebellion. A year later, the rebels - with the help of prime universe Benjamin Sisko - used them to create a Defiant of their own for fighting the Klingon/Cardassian Alliance in the mirror universe. The new warship, I.S.S. Defiant, won the Battle of Terok Nor for the Rebellion and ultimately helped them break free from Alliance rule. (DS9 episodes "Shattered Mirror", "The Emperor's New Cloak")
Missions involved
“Red Shift”: In 2411, the Defiant, under the command of The Inquisitor, is part of a raid on Jupiter station in the Sol system alongside the Enterprise, Voyager and the Reskava to steal the Emperor's prize.
Notes
- It is unclear whether this Defiant is the same one seen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or is rather her successor. Originally, the vessel had a different registry number, but with the vessels appearance in 'Red Shift', complete with NX-74205 registry, it is likely the same ship that appeared on DS9.
- In June 2012, the Defiant was replaced by the I.S.S. Quantum in-game.
