The Federation Cheyenne-class and Constellation-class starships are two interrelated canon starships. Their playable versions are listed to the right, and may appear in the following NPC mob groups;
- Federation Cruisers may be Cheyenne-, Dakota-, or Stargazer-class.
- Terran Cruisers may be Dakota-class.
The most famous ship of this type is the Constellation-class U.S.S. Stargazer captained by Jean-Luc Picard.

SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Dakota class is described as a day-to-day workhorse, taking on many types of operations for Starfleet. The design is an offshoot of the Cheyenne class but sports a much narrower saucer section. |

SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Stargazer class was named in honor of the Constellation-class U.S.S. Stargazer. This class design was put into production after the Dominion War to replace lost ships during that time. The design is similar to the Dakota class, but has a much more modern hull and nacelles. |

SKIN UNLOCK: Constellation Heavy Cruiser Refit, 75,000 The oldest ship of this type, the Constellation class borrows heavily from 23rd-century starship technology and design aesthetics, such as the Miranda and Constitution classes. The U.S.S. Stargazer (NCC-2893) is perhaps the best-known ship of the class, being the first command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. You may also select the "Constellation Beta" nacelles in the ship tailor, a nacelle variant with glowing red bussard collectors and ramscoops reminiscent of the initial STO model. |
