The Green Man is a pub in a secluded village on Mobius. It appeared early on in Knuckles' World Tour of Mobius.
History
In an attempt to research hypnotism with the eventual goal of putting Mobius in a trance, Doctor Robotnik hired Mesmer to perform an experiment on a woodland village. The talented goat was able to hypnotise the entire settlement with his staff, convinving them that they were followers of the ancient Moon Goddess.
Soon afterwards, Knuckles the Echidna stumbled upon the village whilst making his way back to the Floating Island. Tired and aching, Knuckles fortunately found The Green Man to still be open, despite the late hour. Inside, Knuckles asked for somewhere to stay but his welcome from the majority of the drinkers was less than warm. The landlord was different, happily offering Knuckles a drink before ordering Seth and Maurice to take Knuckles' trunk to his best room. With Knuckles out of the way, Mesmer informed the crowd that Knuckles was "the one".
That night, Knuckles awoke to what he thought was an owl's cry. It turned out to be a mob of Green Man regulars carrying a young sheep to be sacrificed. Skeptical about helping out, Knuckles leapt from his bedroom window to rescue the lamb.

- Many key items from later in the story are seen in the first panel of the pub's interior, such as a jester's hat, a symbol of the Moon Goddess and Mesmer's staff on the bar.
