Lions are creatures from Mobius and Planet Earth. It is a big cat that lives in large families, or prides, but is classed as an endangered species on Earth.
Individuals
Lions have not appeared regularly in Sonic the Comic. However, there are a couple of prominent examples:
- Red was an early introduction to STC, leading the clean-up of a massive blaze in the Oil Ocean Zone. He was present, along with Tails, when Sonic the Hedgehog turned into Super Sonic.
- Alf Bandstand is a lion who attempted to fly around the planet in a hot-air balloon but failed over the Greenfield Zone when he chose a woodpecker to be his assistant.
- Pex Ripple and co-star Brawny Gungho worked with Wilbur Z. Sprockethole the Third on a film about Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary until the studio was destroyed by Badniks.
