Jimmy Whale is a resident of Trituna. Along with his fellow residents, the whale attempted to defeat Sonic the Hedgehog and live on the surface of Mobius. He is the heavyweight champion of underwater boxing and held the title for three years in a row.
History
Whale was one of five warriors enlisted to undertake a mission to the Beanson Coast Zone with orders to destroy Sonic. Gifted a serum by Agent X that enabled him to breathe on land, Whale joined the others in the attack but preferred to remain underwater until his teammates had been defeated. Treated as a last resort, their strongest fighter emerged and punched Sonic, worrying the hedgehog that this might actually be a tough battle. Whale continued to press his advantage, punching the ground to create a shockwave that knocked Sonic off his feet. The marine mammal then taunted Sonic when he appeared to run away, but was shocked when Sonic used the distance to gain speed and knocked Whale back into the water with a Spin Attack.
It is unknown how badly the attack affected Whale as he was not one of the people seen to return to Trituna.
