Jaws Michael is a piranha from Trituna. Along with four of his fellow residents, he was sent to the Beanson Coast Zone to defeat Sonic the Hedgehog.
History
Sharka Khan was contacted by Doctor Robotnik, through Agent X, who promised the shark control over a couple of Zones should Sonic be destroyed. With help from a serum that allows for breathing on dry land, Khan sent his finest warriors to handle the hedgehog. Michael stood aside initially, watching as Eelton John was quickly dispatched. Upon Stara grabbing hold of the target, the opportunistic fish moved in to "finish off" Sonic. Unfortunately for him, Stara lost her grip and was thrown into Michael, breaking off most of his teeth. Following the fight, Michael began to feel dizzy, the serum quickly wearing off. The fish reported the problem to Khan, but expressed his worry that Sonic may follow them. Sure enough, the hedgehog (who had taken swimming lessons) entered Trituna and made light work of Michael's second attempt on his life. Along with the others, Jaws later stopped their Zone Leader from sneaking out and decided to help out with the ruling of the Zone.
Trivia
- Jaws' appearance completely changes from one part to the next. He was originally grey but became pink towards the end of the story. He also lost his hat, but this was knocked off in the fight.
- Michaels' name is a pun on the singer George Michael.
