Ine is the housekeeper of Ryo Hazuki and his father in the Shenmue series. The elderly woman has long been their staff member, but Ryo considers her to be his grandmother. Ine was in the house when Ryo's father was killed by Lan Di, but was completely unaware of any trouble until Ryo cried out in despair.
