Harry Mole is a private detective, formerly of the agency O.O.E.R.. He is occasionally called to investigate cases of paranormal activity or bizarre crimes.
History
Mole first appeared in the Plowright Zone after talk of shadowy figures skulking around the town in the night. Although the townsfolk were disbelieving of Wallace and Doris, Mole listened to their mother's words and visited Farmer Nige to learn more. Upon discovering that vegetables had gained sentience and began chasing after him, Mole's stubby legs weren't long enough to get him away. Sonic the Hedgehog gained him a temporary repreive but was soon caught by King Edward of the Veg-Heads. Sonic freed him once more and Mole accompanied the hedgehog to the Chemical Plant Zone, where he learned that toxic waste was leaking from a pipe left behind by Doctor Robotnik. Mole closed off the pipe whilst Sonic returned to the Plowright Zone to save Nige. The detective later returned to close the case.
Some time later, Mole supposedly left O.O.E.R. and became a freelance detective. He was called to the Eldorado Zone's Museum of Arty Art to investigate the theft of the Bronze Monkey, somehow stolen from the locked facility. Mole attempted to deduce the criminal's identity but drew up a blank. Fortunately, Tails had also been summoned and the pair teamed up to thwart Loot the Treasure Seeker. When Loot disappeared from sight, Mole assumed the chameleon could teleport but it was Tails who realised he had just turned invisible. Loot attempted to escape when Tails found him, but Mole's method of transport (a molehill) tripped up Loot and handed him over to the police.
