Fuku-san was the brother of Ryo Hazuki and the student of Iwao Hazuki in the Shenmue series. Towards the end of his study with his sensei, Fuku had improved his blocks considerably. Unfortunately, his training was not enough to stop Lan Di from assaulting him and his master. Fuku was swiftly defeated by the villain and was thrown outside of the dojo. Ryo arrived and discovered Fuku's bruised body, alerting him to a problem inside. Fuku remained motionless on the ground outside whilst Ryo mourned over the loss of his father.
