Alphonse is a member of The Family.
Working on the business side of the criminal gang, rather than Herne and Harvestman's direct involvement, Alphonse was responsible for speaking at a meeting that discussed the Family's efforts during the war. Alphonse spoke directly to Don Long-Legs, informing that, by extorting money from Zone Leaders in exchange for protection from Badnik attacks, the insects were making huge profits.
Alphonse was the first of the Family to learn that the Seaside Hill Zone was under attack from Doctor Robotnik's forces. As the other members present began to panic, Alphonse merely looked uneasy at the enemy's presence.
