The womb was the organ in the lower body of some female animals where offspring were conceived and in which they developed before birth.[1] While gestating in their mother's womb, the child gave her a distinctive shape accompanied by a significant weight gain.[2] Most mammals, including Humans, bore their children live from the womb. The reptilian Yevetha reproduced by laying eggs in external wombs called mara-nas.[1]
