Behind the scenes

The vespid is first mentioned in Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel, a prequel novel to[1] the Star Wars Anthology Series film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.[2] Both the novel and the film are set shortly before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and were released in late 2016.[1][3]
