Urajab

"Look here, Rakab, my first week on the job I sent a crate of worms to the wrong planet and I couldn't get them back. Not like a little box. I mean a crate. Now the jungles of Urajab have been reduced to weeds because of an invasive species."
―Lee Skillen, to Julen Rakab — 20?cb=20250116042720 ▶️ (file info)[4]

Urajab was a jungle planet[4] located in the Expansion Region[1] and the Trailing Sectors regions[2] in grid square L-16 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] In the first week of the Lee Skillen's job as a supervisor at the company Ohnaka Transport Solutions in Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Batuu, she accidentally sent a crate of worms to Urajab instead of its intended destination. According to Skillen, the worms became an invasive species on Urajab, and destroyed the planet's jungles, reducing them to weeds.[4]

Sometime later,[4] in 34 ABY,[5] Skillen told the tale to the farmer Julen Rakab, a resident of Black Spire Outpost who mistakenly delivered the wrong parcel to Ohnaka Transport Solutions.[4] The same year,[6] the historian and author Eloc Throno included Urajab on a map in his Batuu guidebook, Traveler's Guide to Batuu.[7]

Behind the scenes

Urajab was first mentioned in the 2019 young-adult novel A Crash of Fate, written by Zoraida Córdova.[4]
