- "You'd think someone with his rep could actually show up on…time."
- ―Rinn, waiting for Jango Fett to arrive on Telerath
Telerath was a planet located in the Nouane sector of the Inner Rim. It was allegedly a resort world but had problems with gang violence. Disputes on Telerath were settled through sword combat, in a convention known as Sword Law. In 23 BBY, the bounty hunter Jango Fett and his son, Boba, met with fellow hunters Neelda, Rinn, and Tiver, who Fett had hired for an upcoming mission, in a cantina on Telerath.
Description
A terrestrial planet, Telerath[2] was located in the Telerath system[3] of the Inner Rim's[1] Nouane sector, situated along the Vaathkree Trade Corridor hyperspace route. Its surface was covered in island terrain[2] and its sky appeared red from within one of its cities.[5] The planet had[5] a type I atmosphere[4] breathable to a number of species including Chadra-Fan, Gand, humans, and Rodians.[5]
History
- "Jango Fett himself. It's a real honor. I'm Neelda. This is Tiver and Rinn. Worked with them before. Good people to have at your back."
- ―Neelda introduces himself and his associates to Jango Fett while on Telerath

In 23 BBY,[6] the bounty hunter Jango Fett was hired alongside the bounty hunters Neelda, Rinn, and Tiver to capture a Twi'lek girl on[5] the Mid Rim planet[7] Ord Mantell. Fett met with the hunters in a cantina on Telerath, where Neelda introduced himself and his associates to the hunter. After Neelda and his associates were briefly surprised by the presence of Fett's son, Boba, both groups of bounty hunters left the cantina, departing Telerath in their respective starships.[5]
During the time of the Galactic Empire, a group of individuals visited the island resort of Manala on Telerath in search of the infamous judge Mazzum Onas, seeking information on a rumored combat tournament to be held in the Nouane sector. However, while attempting to find Onas, the group ran afoul of a number of local gangs and was arrested after becoming involved in a brawl. Onas was placed in charge of the group's case, and the individuals managed to succeed in beating the judge in combat, securing an invitation to the tournament.[2]
Inhabitants
While Telerath was supposedly a resort world, its inhabitants had problems with gang violence, and a number of local gangs moved enslaved individuals and spice on the planet. The citizens of Telerath settled all disputes, both public and private, through a convention known locally as Sword Law, which involved sword duels. Mazzum Onas was Telerath's most infamous judge, and resided within the island resort of Manala. Known for his skills in blade combat, Onas was often placed against criminals who the government wished to lose their trials.[2]
Locations
The high-end island resort Manala was located on Telerath.[2] The planet was also host to at least one city, which had a skyline made up of numerous tall buildings and contained a cantina where Jango Fett met with several other bounty hunters.[5]
Behind the scenes

Telerath was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Knights of Fate, a sourcebook for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game[2] published in 2018.[8] The book includes a roleplaying adventure seed for use with Force and Destiny, and this article assumes the scenario plays out as described.[2]
Telerath made its first appearance in Age of Republic - Jango Fett 1, a one-shot comic written by Jody Houser, illustrated by Luke Ross, and published by Marvel Comics[5] on January 9, 2019.[9] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Telerath first appeared in the eleventh issue of the comic series Knights of the Old Republic, written by John Jackson Miller, penciled by Brian Ching, and published by Dark Horse Comics[10] on December 27, 2006.[11]
