"But it wasn't 'til Nar Shaddaa that we really started clickin'."
"Right…those smugglers tried to jump you at the Slag Pit."
"I had it handled, but no! One-a the roughest cantinas in the galaxy and this one gets us kicked out for fighting."
―Greez Dritus and Cere Junda[1]

The Slag Pit was a cantina located on[1] the Outer Rim Territories[2] moon Nar Shaddaa. By the reign of the Galactic Empire, it had gained a reputation as one of the roughest bars in the galaxy. During the early days of the Imperial Era, the Latero pilot Greez Dritus and former Jedi Knight Cere Junda entered into an altercation with smugglers at the Slag Pit and were subsequently thrown out of the establishment. The two bonded over the incident and shared a drink of lum in a nearby alley.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

In 14 BBY,[3] Junda and Greez formed a crew with the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis aboard the Stinger Mantis luxury yacht. Dritus recounted the event and cited it as the first time he had clicked with Junda. In the same conversation, Junda recounted her own memories of the event, citing it as one of the best nights of her life that she'd had in years.[1]

In 3 ABY,[4] the gambler Zana Gatta visited the Slag Pit a few days before visiting the casino cruiser Morenia.[5]

Behind the scenes

The Slag Pit was canonically mentioned in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order during a conversation that may occur during travel between planets.[1] The Pit originates from the 1994 Legends comic book series Dark Empire II.[6]
