Skillets were a type of cooking utensil which could be made from iron.

During the conflict on the planet Gorse, the Besalisk chef Drakka brought a huge iron skillet with him while checking out noises he had heard in the alley behind his diner in Gorse City. He had no need of the utensil, however, as all he found in the alley was the demolitions expert Skelly trying to unsuccessfully open a sewer cover.[1]

Behind the scenes

A skillet was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends Hyperspace-exclusive article "Dining at Dex's," which was written by Gregory Walker and released in 2009.[2] The utensil's first appearance in canon was in the novel A New Dawn, which was written by John Jackson Miller and released in 2014.[1]
