R23-X9[5] was an astromech droid owned by Torra Doza of Ace Squadron.[3] Though it resembled an R-series astromech, it was a more specialized version custom-built for Doza,[2] and its color scheme was made to match Doza's state-of-the-art racer, the Blue Ace.[5]
