Blue Ace

The Blue Ace was a custom-built state-of-the-art starship piloted by Torra Doza that suited to her personality and racing skills, during the time of the Cold War. It could hold an astromech droid and was able to change the power of its laserblasts. Doza used it in several races, missions and helped defend the Colossus several times. It was also present at the Battle of Exegol between the Resistance and the Sith Eternal.^[19]

Behind the scenes

The Blue Ace first appeared in "The Recruit," the first episode of the first season of Star Wars Resistance. The episode was directed by Steward Lee and Saul Ruiz, written by Brandon Auman,^[2] and first aired on October 7, 2018.^[20]

Torra's racer took the designs from the snowspeeder and early concept art by Ralph McQuarrie.^[21]

The Blue Ace was among the many starships that made up the Citizens' Fleet during the Battle of Exegol in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker. A photo-realistic model of the ship was created for the film by Industrial Light & Magic.^[18]
