Petrusians were a sentient species that was from the planet Petrusia.^[2] Kristiss and her father Rythus were members of this species. A group of Petrusians were held as slaves by the Galactic Empire at the Imperial outpost of Kullgroon, leading Kristiss to hire the smuggler Lando Calrissian to deliver arms to Kullgroon so they could gain their freedom.^[1]
